This course focuses on three pieces of resistance apparatus: toning balls, Pilates magic circle, stretch bands. Resistance apparatus can be used in versatile ways that build strength and facilitate an optimal range of motion in the joints. You learn how and why resistance apparatus is important for a strong core and integrated support in the hips, shoulders, and upper torso. You become equipped with the conceptual and kinesthetic understanding that helps you deliver resistance exercises in a whole new way. You also learn how to work from the center to periphery and vice versa to integrate the whole body as a system from optimal movement.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received up to 30 days prior to the start date will be refunded minus 15% of the total tuition fee. Cancellations received 7-29 days prior to the start date will be refunded minus 50% of the total tuition fee. No refund less than 7 days prior to or anytime after course start date. To avoid any cancellation penalty, course registrations may be postponed or applied to a different course with permission up to 7 days before the course start date for a $100 administrative fee.
